SECTION 6
Installation conditions
1.
The installation and commissioning of the model must be carried out by qualified operators.
2.
The model is designed for ducted installations and is equipped with radial fans suitable to withstand a maximum
additional static pressure of 300 Pa (see SECTION 8).
3.
During installation, ensure adequate air flow by minimizing the pressure drop on the intake (see point 6).
4.
Check the bearing capacity of the support structures and the relative fixing points in relation to the weight and
shape of the model (see table of technical characteristics).
5.
The model must be firmly anchored to the support base, use all the fixing points. If necessary, use shock
absorbers to prevent noise transmission.
6.
Avoid conveying the air flow directly against surfaces with reflecting power or which in any case raise the noise
level. Provide adequate space for air circulation and maintenance. Ref. following picture:
7.
In the installation area there must not be any foreign bodies and powders which could obstruct the heat
exchanger. Avoid the transit of vehicles that could hit the model.
8.
The place of installation must offer adequate protection against particular atmospheric events (e.g. flooding).
9.
The place of installation must conform to what is prescribed by local legislation.
10. This model must not be installed in a potentially explosive or acidic atmosphere or in one that is not compatible
with the materials that it is made of (copper, aluminum, steel, polymers).
11. This model must be integrated in an electromagnetic environment of industrial type, which falls within the
emission and immunity limits provided for by the regulations currently in force.
12. The ambient temperature must not be less than –25 °C or above 60 °C. In case of installations at temperatures
lower than +5°C check that the presence of snow or ice does not obstruct the fins and does not prevent the
rotation of the motors.
13. Always place the model so that the coolant gas enters from above and the liquid gets out from below.
14. Before cutting the input and/or output pipes discharge the pre-load pressure (2 bar approximately) from the heat
exchanger.
15. When installation is complete, remove the protective film that covers the model.
16. Verify that the power supply line conforms to the characteristics of the model.
