stability (Rif. 4).
If a crane is used, use a hoisting fork with an adequate capacity and strapping that is in accordance with the
yellow lifting indicators, so as to avoid transversal stress to the unit structure as well as damage to
components.
ATTENTION!: DO NOT USE LIFTING POINTS OTHER THAN THOSE INDICATED.

12.Installation and environmental conditions

For installation, certain conditions regarding environmental conditions must be respected:
Temperature: from - 10°C to + 55°C;
Relative humidity: from - 30% to + 80%;
Degree of protection: IP30 OPEN / IP44 CLOSED versions.
For conditions that vary from those indicated, appropriate packaging will be made available together with
additional information.
For installation, please proceed as follows:
- The unit must be installed in areas in which personnel is not constantly present.
- Allow access to the room only to specialized technical personnel.
- Guarantee that there is space sufficient to allow immediate access to the machine.
Certain risks must be considered with regards to the design and completion of the room:
- Fire hazard;
- Risk of poisoning;
- Oil leaks;
- Noise.
- Ensure that there is enough room to perform maintenance operations, Hmin = 2.7m.
- Provide the minimum dimensions indicated (Rif. 2) noting that these are net of the space used by tubing, etc.
- Opening the door of the control panel should not obstruct escape routes.
- In the case of units with sound-proofed cabinets, increase the minimum dimensions by 20 cm, to simplify
removal of panels during maintenance. Once removed, panels must be positioned in a way that does not
block escape routes.
- Provide an access door that permits the unit and all of its components to pass through.
- The space in front of the door must be left free for any movement that may be required.
- Minimum door dimensions: 1.2m x 2.4 m - opening outward.
- Make sure that all surfaces are REI 120 fire resistant, or in any case in line with the norms in effect.
- Install flooring resistant to oil stains, with sufficient resilience for the concentrated loads of the unit and
attachment of the standing buffers.
- The size and surfaces of the room should be based on the level of noise emissions requested.
- Direct the safety valves to the outside, as prescribed by the norm EN378.
Ventilation
The room must have ventilation adequate to:
- Guarantee that the unit temperature is maintained within operational limits.
- Guarantee elimination of fumes and gas that may exit from the unit in the case of malfunction.
- Guarantee appropriate cleaning of the room through the creation of natural ventilation openings.
Otherwise, appropriate forced ventilation can be used.
- Protect openings with appropriate grilles, to prevent entry of insects or rodents.
For ventilation dimensions, please refer to the following:
NATURAL VENTILATION
Provide for at least two openings, one near the flooring and the other near the ceiling, with a net surface
area equal to:
2
F = Area in m
of the net section
G = Mass in kg of the system's refrigerant load
MECHANICAL VENTILATION
In the case of forced ventilation, install a system with the following characteristics:
Q = Air capacity in m
G = Mass in kg of the system's refrigerant load
