5. Presentation - Proper use (Fig. 1 - Fig. 2)

MPM2 units are modular refrigeration units, consisting of 3 - 8 hermetic or semi-hermetic compressors of
various strengths, connected to each other and assembled on a frame. The unit can be supplied with all the
elements necessary for proper performance, including: power and control panel, pressure transducers,
pressure switches, and safety devices.
The unit is available in various versions. See Fig. 1 - Fig. 2.
The combination of various compressor models with various types of functions and gas, has allowed us to
create a vast array of models that are able to satisfy most needs in terms of available power and operating
temperature.

6. Standard accessories

- Oil balance
- Oil separator (only for semi-hermetic compressors)
- Liquid container, provided with safety valve and dehydrating filter with replaceable cartridge, installed under
the compressor assembly
- Resistance casing (only for semi-hermetic compressors)
- Oil differential pressure switches (only for compressors with oil pump)
- Power and control panel, using electronic unit
- Safety pressure switches
- High and low pressure transducers
- Emergency control for compressors, using pressure switches
- Polyester oil
Standard units can be ordered in the versions "OPEN," "CLOSE," and sound-proofed.

7. Technical Datapag. 6 - 8

Data is calculated for R404A, condensation temperature +40°C, evaporation temperature -10°C (TN) and -
35°C (BT), overheating 10K. In the case of closed and soundproofed units, sound pressure is decreased by
6 dB(A). In the case that it is necessary to further reduce noise emissions, we recommend:
- covering the walls of the room in which the machine will be installed with sound-absorbing and insulating
material
- installing sound traps in the ventilation grills
With SCROLL compressors it is possible to further reduce sound pressure by 10 dB(A), by requesting
"SOUND SHELL" soundproofing casing as an option.
