- Risk:
Electrocution, burns, injuries
- Action:
Adding utilities
- Risk:
Insufficient refrigeration power output from the unit
- Action:
Failure to check phase sequence on Scroll compressors
- Risk:
Damage to electric parts, compressors
- Action:
Filling refrigerant without pressure reducer
- Risk:
Explosion
- Action:
Maintenance operations without wearing the appropriate IPD
- Risk:
Fractures, burns, abrasions, injuries, etc.
The safety valves (CSPRS) are found only in the liquid containers.
In the section for the unit, the safety pressure switch (SRMCR) is located.
- DO NOT start the unit if this pressure switch is not appropriately connected to the electric circuit.
- in the case that the increase in pressure is attributable to external factors, check the efficacy of the safety
devices
- DO NOT start up the unit if the safety valve (CSPRS) is not connected or if the open leaded tap is closed
- NEVER close the open leaded tap installed before the safety valve while the unit is operating
- In order to replace the safety valve (every 5 years)
- stop the unit
- close the open leaded tap
- replace the safety valve
- open and lead again the tap
Note:All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

10.Refrigerant

MPM2 units use 3 types of refrigerant, in accordance with the performance and usage conditions: R404A,
R507A, and R134A
Consult the Technical Data Manual for information on the quantity of refrigerant found in your unit.
In order to determine the quantity of refrigerant contained in the system, it is necessary to add together the
relative quantities in the distribution network with the utilities and condensers.
It is a good idea to display data relative to the type and quantity of refrigerant contained in the unit outside of
the machine room to make emergency interventions easier (see the section on Safety Equipment).
Danger!:The refrigerants used, while classified as "non-toxic," can cause serious
problems such as:
Alteration of heartbeat - Asphyxia - Anesthetic effects - Cold burns to the eyes and skin
ATTENTION!: DO NOT USE LIQUIDS OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED (E.G.. AMMONIAC) THAT COULD
DAMAGE THE UNIT.
Note: Refer to the safety norms in this Manual and in the technical sheets for the refrigerant.

11.Transportation, movement, and lifting (Fig. 4)

The unit is provided with a self-supporting steel frame for transport with a forklift. (Rif. 5).
The length of the fork must be greater than 1100 mm (Rif. 3).
To find out the weight of the standard versions, please refer to the technical data tables at pag. 6.
There are yellow labels on the steel frame which indicate the precise points for lifting, for purposes of load
