Check regularly
- Tightness of threaded connectors and, where applicable, wall
bracket.
- Tightness of accumulator (welded seams and glued gaskets)
- Vaporising action using pressure gauge near accumulator.
Venting accumulator
IMPORTANT
Close stop taps and depressurise accumulator.
Open the drainage valve and the vent valve if necessary until the
accumulator has filled with air (metering chemical no longer
flowing through drainage line). Size 0 only: turn the integrated
drainage valve approx. 1 complete turn to the left to vent.
Close the drainage valve and if necessary the vent valve.
Open the stop taps again.
Pressurise and check the accumulator for tightness.

Fault:
The system is 'knocking' (increased noise level, pressure gauge near
accumulator is registering significant pressure surges, parts of the
system are vibrating violently, metering is uneven...)
Cause:
Inadequate or no gas cushion
Remedy:
Stop the pump immediately
Depressurise the accumulator and vent (see "Servicing")
