About this product

The PP / PVC accumulators are pulsation dampeners with no
diaphragm separating the gas cushion from the feed chemical. They
are used for low pulsation metering and to reduce flow resistance in
long lines and with viscous feed chemicals.

Safety

Correct use of equipment
• The accumulators dampen the pulsations which an oscillating
metering pump produces in chemicals flowing through a tubing
system.
• The accumulators may be used only with liquid media.
• All other uses and modifications are prohibited.
• The accumulators are not for use with gaseous liquids (apart from
the essential air cushion), flammable media or solids.
• Do not use accumulator with chemicals which could corrode the
materials (see ProMinent
at www.prominent.de).
• The accumulators may not be used in conditions other than the
stated environmental and operating conditions.
IMPORTANT
• Read through the operating instructions carefully before
starting installation and commissioning.
• You are obliged to observe the notes on assembly, installation
and maintenance given in these operating instructions.

Storage and transport

IMPORTANT
• Protect the accumulator from frost.
• Protect the accumulator from direct sunlight and other UV
sources.
• Always empty the accumulator before storing or transporting
(feed chemical, safety equipment?).
• Seal openings to prevent foreign bodies entering the equip-
ment).
