• Size 0 (V = 0.15 l): check that the drainage valve is closed -
turn the knurled screw to the right as far as possible. The
feed chemical could otherwise leak out under pressure.
• Wear appropriate safety gear when metering hazardous
substances.
Check the installation (is the bypass valve set correctly?)
Not when commissioning for the first time: close stop taps and
depressurise the accumulator. Then open the drainage valve and
if necessary the vent valve until the accumulator has filled with air
(metering chemical no longer flowing through drainage line). Close
valves once more.
Open corresponding stop taps.
Start the metering pump at low power – slowly increase feed rate
to the required level.
Check that all hydraulic parts are tight.

IMPORTANT
• Wear appropriate safety gear when metering hazardous or
unknown substances.
• Vent accumulator at regular intervals. It could otherwise
rupture or fly across the room in the event of a fault.
Service intervals
Service at regular intervals depending on feed chemical, installation
and operating conditions.
