• Fit a vent valve to make it easier to vent the accumulator if
necessary.
• Avoid vibrations. Secure the accumulator with a wall bracket
or clamp if necessary.
• Connect the pipe work to the accumulator so that neither is
subject to strain, e.g. caused by movement, weighting or
stretching of the tubing!
• The accumulator connection sizes must match those of the
pipe work as far as possible. They must differ by no more
than one standard width.
5.1 Installation of size 0 (V = 0.15 l)

IMPORTANT
• Note direction of flow through the accumulator (direction
arrow on the housing).
• Check that the drainage valve is closed – turn the knurled
screw to the right as far as possible. The feed chemical could
otherwise leak out under pressure.
NOTE
Have a union nut of the correct diameter with tubing nozzle and
crimp ring ready for connection to the outlet.
Screw the accumulator, with the inlet neck facing downwards,
vertically onto a male threaded connector with O-ring – normally
directly onto the discharge valve of a metering pump.
Connect the outlet to the discharge line.
Feed a 6 x 4 hose from the drainage valve into the feed tank or
into an alternative suitable vented container.
The accumulator should also be fixed with a pipe clamp. The
accumulator and lines must not vibrate.
