Machine operation
Press the drive plate motor switch (2) (right or left) to start the
motor.
If you raise the shaft (7) slightly, the machine moves to the right
(D).
If you lower the shaft, the machine moves to the left (D).
If you keep the shaft in its central position, the machine operates
on the spot.
On rough floors, tip the machine (A) before starting the motor and
only then lower it onto the floor.
The machine is equipped with an overload indicator (14) (for ex-
cessive pressing force).
This lamp should not or only briefly light up.
After use
Pull the shaft adjustment lever (5) and set the shaft (7) in its verti-
cal position.
Now pull the mains plug out of its socket and coil the electric cable
around the handlebar (1) and cable hook (8).
To protect the retaining needles, leave the used pad screwed onto
the drive plate until the machine is used again. Only then replace it
with a new pad.
The ring is fitted with the same procedure but in reverse order.
Make sure that the ring's two metal pins mate with the recesses in
the wheel mounts.
The ring now hangs loosely around the motor unit.
To fit it, its diameter can be enlarged by pulling between the pins.
Assembly instructions for spray unit
Attach the holding device for the spray can to the shaft (7) with the
holder at the top and, when viewed from the operating position, on
the left (G).
Mount the spray can in the holding device and pivot the latter back
until the ball stop engages.
Then push the spring buckle over the shaft adjustment unit (16).
You can attach the nozzle on the left or right as preferred (H).
Then point the flexible tube in the desired direction.
Operating the spray unit
Equip your machine with the following accessories for cleaner
spraying:
Spray unit and the brown pad.
Fill the spray with the desired product.
Attach the pad to the drive plate.
Then start the machine.
Pull the hand lever on the Spray unit a few times to spray the
cleaner product onto the floor. Start cleaner spraying immediately,
continuing until a gloss is produced.

We recommend cleaning the floor section by section.
With the B1 you can clean at a far greater speed than with slower
machines.
The machine is ideal for cleaning with polymer dispersions. The
coating's traffic resistance and hardwearing properties remain un-
affected. Smears can be removed easily.
Polishing
For these tasks, we advise using the red pads.
This is fastest way of removing smears and scratches and
producing the typical wet gloss.
Service
For repairs, please contact your specialist wholesaler or one of the
service shops.
You will be expertly and quickly served.

Servicing instructions

the following instructions must always be observed
When cleaning and servicing the machine, replacing parts or when
changing over to a different function, switch off the drive and re-
move the plug.
The power supply lead must not be damaged by driving over it,
crushing, tugging etc.
Check the power supply lead regularly for signs of damage.
The machine must not be used if the power supply lead is not in
perfect condition.
When using or replacing the power supply or equipment supply
leads, use only those specified by the manufacturer.
When replacing the plug-and-socket connectors of power supply or
equipment supply leads, splash protection and mechanical
strength must be assured.
When transporting the machine in lifts, put the shaft/bar in a verti-
cal position so that it cannot catch on the lift walls.
The shaft/bar is automatically secured against recoil by the pat-
ented shaft/bar adjustment unit.
Only the spray and cleaning agents suitable for the machine's
purpose may be used.
Never use highly flammable, combustible, toxic, health-hazardous,
corrosive or irritant substances.
Repairs, including the fitting of spray agent lines and hoses, may
only be carried out by approved customer service shops or by
specialists in this field who are familiar with all the relevant safety
regulations.
Storage
Remove brush/pad driver from machine and neatly coil cord
around cord hook and handle.
Store the machine in a dry place and in normal room conditions
(not below under 0°C)
