Safety instructions within these
operating instructions
Safety instructions within these instructions are
identified as follows:

1.2
General risks in the event of non-
adherence to the safety instruc-
tions
Operating personnel which is involved with the
commissioning, operation, maintenance and
repair of the machine, must have read and un-
derstood the operating instructions and espe-
cially the chapter entitled safety instructions.
In addition to the operating instructions and the
binding accident prevention regulations which
apply in the country and location of use, the gen-
erally recognised specialist, technical rules re-
garding safe and proper operation must also be
adhered to. All working methods which impede
safety must be desisted from.

General safety instructions

The machine is not suitable for vacuuming dusts
which represent a risk to health. The machine is
not explosion-proof. The machine has not been
approved for cleaning public roads and thor-
oughfares. The machine must be stored under
lock and key; if the machine is equipped with a
central key, this key must be removed. Other
suitable measures for preventing the unauthor-
ised use of the machine must be taken. The
machine's electrical and mechanical safety de-
vices must not be changed or rendered inoper-
able. When carrying out operations with the ma-
chine, attention must be paid to third parties,

be transported in lifts with sufficient carrying
capacity. Without special training, the operator
must not carry out repair work on the machine.
When cleaning and maintaining the machine,
when replacing parts or switching to a different
operating mode, it must be ensured that the
machine cannot unintentionally start, roll away or
tip over, and that no parts are able to fall down or
snap shut. If you have any questions or doubts
with regard to safety, seek information from the
manufacturer or sales partner before using the
machine.
1.4
Safety instructions for mains-
operated machines
Do not damage mains connection leads by
crushing, dragging, driving over them, rubbing or
by pulling on the cable on disconnection. Exam-
ine the leads for damage, bare patches,
scorched patches and similar types of risk prior
to use. Operating the machine is prohibited if the
mains lead is defective. Immediately replace
damaged parts. Only carry out operations which
are listed in the operating instructions. More in-
depth maintenance and repair operations must
only be carried out by the customer service or an
authorised specialist workshop. Use original
replacement parts or parts which correspond to
the technical data. When carrying out operations
on the machine, always disconnect this from the
mains.

Proper usage

This cleaning machine is exclusively intended for
wet-cleaning hard, waterproof floor coverings in
the interior of buildings. The adherence to com-
missioning, operating, maintenance and repair
regulations is a prerequisite of proper usage.
The operating personnel must be informed of
these regulations. All other usage is regarded as
improper. The manufacturer cannot be held li-
able for damage which occurs as a result of this;
the risk of this is borne solely by the user. The
machines may only be used, maintained and
repaired by persons who are familiar with this
and have been informed of the risks. The rele-
vant accident prevention regulations and other
generally recognised safety-technical, industrial
medicine and legal road traffic regulations must
be complied with. Unauthorised amendments to
the machine preclude any liability on the part of
the manufacturer for damage which occurs as a
result of this.
