• The electric power cable plug should be connected to a regulation current socket.
• Detach the electric supply line from the mains under voltage before carrying out any cleaning,
servicing or maintenance work on the appliance.
• Always use suitable extension cables.
• Only connect to electrical networks that have a switch for fault currents.
• The appliance should be used, maintained and repaired only by persons who are familiar with
it and understand the dangers involved.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories.
• No responsibility is accepted for similar components from other manufacturers.
• When cleaning and carrying out maintenance, respect the local regulations regarding the
proper handling of oils, greases, acids, bases, fuels and other similar materials.
• For disposing of the appliance and old components, comply with local regulations on the matter.
• Do not clean the appliance with a high pressure liquid jet appliance.
• In the event of danger, quickly disconnect the appliance's power cable from the mains socket.
• The power supply cable outlet must have an earth connection in compliance with the regulatory
standards.
• Never work near gas, liquids or explosive or inflammable powders, or acids and solvents!
These include gasoline, paint thinners and fuel oil (which, when mixed with the vacuum air,
can form explosive vapours or mixtures), and also non-diluted acids and solvents, acetones,
aluminium and magnesium powders. These substances may also corrode the materials used
to construct the machine.
• If the machine is used in dangerous areas (e.g. petrol stations), the relative safety standards
must be observed. The appliance must never be used in environments with a potentially
explosive atmosphere.
• In order to prevent short circuits when working near electrical components, do not use: non-
insulated tools; do not lay, or let fall, metallic objects on the components that use electrical
power; remove any rings, watches and any clothing with metal parts that may come into contact
with the components that use electrical power.
WARNING:
• Read all relevant instructions carefully before carrying out any maintenance/repairs operations.
• Before using the appliance, make sure that the frequency and the voltage indicated on the
serial number plate match the mains voltage.
• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
• The appliance must be used only by authorized, trained personnel.
• In the event of a fire, use a powder extinguisher. Do not use water.
• Always protect the appliance from the sun, rain and other bad weather, when it is operating and
when it is not. Store the appliance in a covered, dry place: this appliance is only for dry use and
should never be used or kept outdoors in damp conditions.
CAUTION:
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device.
• When using the appliance, pay attention to other people and especially to children.
• The appliance must only be powered with a voltage equal to that shown on the registration
plate.
• When left unattended, the appliance must be protected from unintentional movements.
• Carefully read the labels on the appliance. Do not cover them for any reason and replace them
