SYMPTOM

If fall of snow is within 5 cm (2 in) above the road surface, it is difficult for the chuter to throw
snow further. Operate the main shift lever in the faster position, and gather much snow to
throw it further.

Other troubles
SYMPTOM
Unable to adjust the
auger height.
Track is worked off
from the wheels.
Headlight does not
turn on.
Engine speed is not

from the muffler.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Auger control switch has
been operated frequently.

abnormal or faulty.

overheated.

adjusting part is faulty.
Track is loosened.
Battery is dead.

REMEDY
Wait for a while and operate the
switch again (see page 45).
Check the drive control warning
indicator (orange) for the
number of blinks (see page 84
and 85). Consult with your
authorized Honda dealer.
REMEDY
Internal protection circuit is
i s armed when the auger power
h e i g h t a d j u s t i n g p a r t i s
o v e r h e a t e d b y f r e q u e n t
application of the auger control
switch. Wait for a while and
operate the switch again.
Consult an authorized Honda
dealer.
Check and adjust the deflection
of the track (see page 73).
Battery charge or replacement
(see page 69 and 78).
Fuse check or replacement (see
page 76).
Consult with an authorized
Honda dealer.
Return the choke knob to the
original position after warming
up the engine (see page 39).
