The battery gives off explosive gases. Keep sparks caused by short
circuit and flames away when handling the battery.
Do not use or recharge the battery with the electrolyte level below
the lower level. It can shorten the service life of the battery or cause
explosion.
Explosion of the battery can cause serious personal injury.
Connect the battery cable properly. When connecting the battery
cable, be sure to connect at the positive ( ) terminal first, then at

the negative ( ) terminal. To disconnect, disconnect at the battery

negative ( ) terminal first. Never disconnect the battery cable in
the reverse order, or it causes a short circuit when a tool contacts
the terminals.
The battery contains sulfuric acid (electrolyte). Contact with skin or
eyes may cause severe burns. Wear protective clothing and a face
shield.

If electrolyte gets on your skin, flush with water.

If electrolyte gets in your eyes, flush with water for at least 15
minutes and call a physician immediately.
