Switching the instrument on
The following information (example) will be shown on the display when the temperature
sensor is connected:
The top line shows the current temperature of the sensor. The middle line shows the set
speed. The bottom line shows the actual speed. When switching on the power, it will
always be "0 rpm".
If no external temperature sensor is connected, the display (C) will show the following
message for approx. 3 seconds:
and will switch to the appropriate display for hotplate control (see "Heating without
temperature sensor").
Note:
The heating and stirring functions are not active after switching the
instrument on with the rocker switch (A).
OPERATION
Turn on the instrument's power using
the rocker switch (A) on the right side
of the housing. The green Power LED
(G) on the front panel will light. The
instrument will run its start routine. If
connected, the instrument will
automatically recognise an external
Pt1000 temperature sensor. The
instrument will then select the correct
mode automatically.
