YELLOW FLASHING LAMP (SL-R-24V-AI) 24Vac 25W max.
Output for self-flashing signal lamp.
Use trimmer 3 to set the pre-manoeuvre warning flash time (see paragraph 9).
N.B: The indicator lamp flashes slowly (once every 3 sec.) to indicate that the automation system has detected an obstacle
three consecutive times while closing. Automatic closing is temporarily disabled and is enabled again only after a subsequent
OUT 3
successful closing cycle.
The lamp flashes rapidly (every 0.5 sec.) to indicate that the barrier acquisition cycle is in progress.
FTC
N.C. safety input. If the beam of the photocell is interrupted in closing it will open the gate again instantly.
With dip switch 5 ON, when the photocells are engaged it causes movement to stop also in opening, starting again imme-
diately after the photocells are disengaged.
STOP
N.C. safety input. When this is activated it stops the automation instantly and when a start command is then given the gate
will always open. If a stop command is given during pause time it eliminates automatic re-closing, waiting for a command.
START
N.O. input by means of which the automation can be controlled according to the logic programmed with dip switches 1 and 2
AP.PED.
The command is accepted only if the barrier is completely closed, and automatic closing is temporarily disabled during the
opening cycle. Use in accordance with the automatic logic of the start command (DIP 1-2 ON).
APRI
N.O. input for opening only. A clock or weekly timer may be connected to this input if wanted.
By activating this input the automation will perform an opening manoeuvre and the gate will close automatically only when
the entrance is clear of obstacles.
CHIUDE
N.O. input for closing. To close the automation only if the safety devices have not triggered.
7. DIP SWITCH CONFIGURATION
Dip switches 1 and 2: They select the functioning logic
Off-Off: Hold-to-run logic
Automation functions active for as long as control buttons are pressed. Pressing start once opens the barrier, pressing again
closes the barrier.
Commands via radio in the hold-to-run logic are forbidden by law.
On-Off: Semi-automatic operating logic.
Automation functions activated by pressing and releasing control buttons. No automatic closing cycle.
On-On: Automatic operating logic.
Automation functions activated by pressing and releasing control buttons. Barrier closes automatically after pause time set with
trimmer PM1.
Dip 3: Selects start control operating logic.
Off: Pressing start repeatedly cycles through the following sequence of functions: open-stop-close-open
On: Start command opens barrier only. Pressing when paused closes barrier, pressing while barrier is closing reopens barrier.
Dip 4: It selects intervention of the safety reverser in closing.
Off: It opens again and closes after the pause time if automatic re-closing is programmed.
If, after three attempts to close, the manoeuvre is not completed, the barrier stays open and waits for commands.
On: It opens again and waits for commands.
Dip 5: It selects intervention of the safety photocell.
Off: Photocells active only in closing: if they are covered they reverse the manoeuvre.
On: Photocells active both in opening and closing. When they are covered in opening they stop the manoeuvre which starts again when
the beam is free, while in closing they reverse the manoeuvre only when they are free.
Dip 6: It selects the re-closing function immediately after the photocell trips.
Off: Photocells enabled as with Dip 5.
On: Photocells activated both as a safety device, according to the Dip 5 setting, and as a closing command.
If a pause time is programmed it is reduced to 3 seconds when the photocells are covered in opening or during pause time.
Dip 7: Selects bar light state with bar stationary
Off: Bar lights off when bar is stationary.
On: Bar lights on when bar is stationary.
Dip 8: Selects SCA output function.
Off: SCA activated normally
On: SCA used to drive a relay for switching a traffic light between red/green.
