10.2
Checking the components of the
photovoltaic installation
▶
Check all of the components of the photovoltaic installa-
tion in accordance with your inspection and maintenance
instructions.
10.3
Checking the inverter
1.
Check the event log and, if required, carry out
troubleshooting (→ Page 32).
2.
Check the current annual yield and compare this with
the previous year's yield from the last test report.
3.
If you notice a significant deterioration in the annual
yield when compared to the previous year's yield, carry
out troubleshooting (→ Page 32).
10.4
Checking the installation site
▶
Ensure that the requirements for the installation site
(→ Page 24)are complied with.
10.5
Checking the generator characteristic
Open Main menu → Gener. ch. curve.
1.
◁
The inverter receives the photovoltaic generator
characteristic and then displays it.
2.
Ensure that the photovoltaic modules are not partially in
shadow.
▽
If the curve is level at the top, the inverter may not
have been able to feed in any more power.
3.
Ensure that the photovoltaic installation corresponds to
the planning specifications and is configured correctly.
4.
If the planning specifications do not allow for optimum
operation, change the planning and configuration of the
photovoltaic installation, if required.
10.6
Preparing for maintenance work on the
electrical installation
1.
Temporarily decommission (→ Page 33)the photovoltaic
installation for maintenance work.
2.
Observe the requirements and safety warnings for the
electrical installation (→ Page 28).
10.7
Checking the electrical installation
10.7.1 Checking the protective earthing
▶
If protective earthing is installed, check the cabling of the
protective earthing to ensure that it is working correctly.
10.7.2 Checking the insulation and stability of the
cabling
1.
Check the cabling, insulation and plug connections for
cleanliness, integrity and stability.
2.
If you notice a fault, document it and eliminate it imme-
diately.

10.8
Writing the maintenance report
1.
Document the maintenance work that was carried out in
a maintenance report.
2.
Pass the maintenance report on to the end user.
3.
Point out to the end user that they must always keep
the maintenance report safe.
10.9
Cleaning the inverter
1.
Check the inverter for dirt.
2.
Clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth and a little
solvent-free soap.
3.
Only use max. 2 bar compressed air to clean the cool-
ing fins behind the product casing.
10.10 Completing maintenance work
▶
Start up (→ Page 30) the photovoltaic installation again
once the maintenance work is complete.
11 Decommissioning
11.1
Temporarily decommissioning
The photovoltaic installation can be temporarily decommis-
sioned.
▶
Switch off the circuit breaker (fuse off).
▶
Secure the circuit breaker against being switched on
again by mistake or without authorisation.
▶
Switch the load isolator to position (0) to switch off the
power supply to the inverter.
▶
Secure the load isolator against being switched on again
by mistake or without authorisation.
11.1.1 Disconnecting the SUNCLIX direct current
plug connection
B
▶
Ensure that, if a photovoltaic generator is connected, it is
not generating any current.
▶
Disconnect the plug connections on the inverter as
shown in the figure.
