Insert the plug of the connector cable into one of the connec-
tions (68 or 69) and engage.
Metering pump
If an automatic filling device is used to fill the fuel lines,
make electrical connection to metering pump after filling.
Attach the connector (74) of the connector cable to the meter-
ing pump and the connector (75) to the connection (70) of the
unit. Please ensure that the connectors engage properly.

(Combi D 6 E – with electric heating elements)
IEC 60364-7-721, for example, in Germany).
The 230 V ~ / 50 Hz electrical connection must be made on a
fused circuit with a rating of at least 10 A (preferably 16 A).
The following must be provided for the Combi E in the circuit
of the caravan / motor home:
– A suitable residual current circuit-breaker
– Mains disconnect switch (for maintenance and repair work)
These switches must disconnect at all poles and must have
the specified contact spacing (minimum 3.5 mm).
Figure 34
– Cables must be secured using suitable clamps.
– Lay cables/lines of low-voltage systems physically separate
from those for extra low-voltage systems.
Initial start-up
During the initial start-up of a brand new appliance, small
quantities of fumes and a slight odour may briefly occur.
Filling the fuel lines
The heater normally has to be started up several times to fill
the fuel lines if an automatic filling device is not being used
(part no. 34020-44700).
Switch on the unit at the control panel to do this. The unit
automatically performs 2 starting attempts (initial and repeat
75
start) per switch-on procedure with a run time of 2 minutes
74
in each case. If no flame is detected after the repeat start, the
unit switches to fault and has to be switched off and on again
at the control panel.
is blocked. To remove the block, please contact the Truma
Service Centre (see www.truma.com).
Check fuel lines and connections for leaks after filling the fuel
lines.
Function check
Test all functions of the unit as described in the operating
instructions, particularly the drainage of the water contents.

Warnings
The installer or vehicle owner must affix the yellow sticker
with the warning information, which is enclosed with the ap-
pliance, in a location in the vehicle where it is clearly visible
to all users (e.g. the wardrobe door)! Missing stickers can be
requested from Truma.
The 230 V electrical connection must always be made
