b) Commissioning with DAP Code
At first commissioning at delivery, the master code is "0000"; proceed as described in
chapter 8. a).
The following procedure is only required when you have forgotten the master code.
The control input for the door opener must be wired (see chapter 6, connection "D")
and a door opener button must be connected there.
• Disconnect the code lock from the operating voltage for one minute to ensure that it performs
a proper restart.
• Reconnect the operating voltage again.
• The LED (1) at the upper left of the code lock flashes and the piezo buzzer emits beeps for
one minute.
• Briefly push the door opener button once. The beeps will end and the code lock is waiting for
input of the DAP code (LED (1) continues to flash).
"DAP" means "Direct Access to Programming mode".
• Enter the DAP code
firmly programmed and cannot be changed).
• The code lock emits two beeps; the LED (1) is now permanently lit orange. The code lock is in
programming mode.
• You can now programme and save a new master code; see chapter 11. d).
Observe:
If you do not push the door opener button briefly within one minute of activation of the
operating voltage, the input mode for the DAP code will be left automatically. Then
proceed again as described above if necessary.
The combination of door opener button (which must be inside the building) and input
of the DAP code ensures safety that no unauthorised person can enter a new master
code after a power outage.
