Avertissements
Warnings
If the unit is set up in a suspended ceiling or attic, or above living
space, a drain pan must be installed underneath the water
heater. A drainage device connected to a drain is required.
• Be sure to turn off the power before removing the cover, to
prevent any risk of injury or electric shock.
• Upstream of the unit, the electrical installation must have
an all-pole cut-out device (circuit breaker, fuse) compliant
with the local installation rules in force (30 mA residual cur-
rent device).
• Earthing is mandatory. A special terminal marked
provided for this purpose.
• Refer to the wiring diagrams in the manual.
• The electrical installation must be constructed in accor-
dance with the applicable regulations.
• This unit is designed to operate at a nominal voltage of 230
volts 50 Hz. The voltage at the unit's terminals must never
drop below 198 V or exceed 264 V (including during the
starting stages).
• The maximum cable length depends on the voltage drop,
which must be less than 2 %. Use a larger cable cross-
section if the voltage drop is 2 % or more.
• The electrical connections must only be made once all the
other installation operations (mounting, assembly, etc.)
have been completed.
• Check that the wiring is not subject to wear, corrosion,
excessive pressure, vibration, sharp edges or any other
harmful environmental conditions.
