► If a power tool with battery compartment is used, remove
AP adapter from power tool's battery compartment and
then pull the plug out of the AP adapter socket with
steady, even pressure.
NOTICE
Avoid exposing the battery to excessive heat or cold or
prolonged periods of direct sunlight. Use or storage outside
the recommended ambient temperature range can reduce
the performance and/or service life of the backpack battery.

power tool, see the instruction manual of the power tool
being operated with this battery.
13 After Finishing Work
13.1 Preparing for Transportation or Storage
To prepare the battery for transportation or storage:
► Switch off the power tool as described in its instruction
manual.
► Disconnect the backpack battery, @ 12.3.
► If the battery became wet during operation, allow it to dry
separately and completely before charging or storing.
14 USB Port (AR 1000 only)
14.1 Charging a USB Device
WARNING
High voltage and excessive charging current at the USB port
may damage the connected USB device. Only charge USB
devices with an input voltage of 5 V and a maximum
charging current of 1.5 A.

To charge a USB device with the battery:
► Unplug the battery from the power tool or charger.
► Remove the cover (1).
► Pass the plug (2) of the USB device to be charged through
