The caRol™ TS bracket is equipped with an EN
795:2012 class A 150 kg anchor point for securing one
operator operating the caRol™ TS hoist.
NOTE: The caRol™ TS hoist may not be used
to lower or raise an operator.
The caRol™ TS hoist is suitable for handling and
securing loads with an SWL of up to 250 kg.
5. Installation
NOTE: when the davimast fitted with a base
plate attached to the structure, do not use the davimast
if there is any doubt about the quality or type of
supporting structure or base plate fasteners.
5.1. Installing the davimast
The operator must first be protected from the risk of
falling before any installation work.
The davimast mast may only be installed on Tractel
davitrac and davimast permanent base plate.
Setting up the davimast on the base plate (Fig. 2):
• Install the davimast (M) in a Tractel
• Depending on the base plate, fit the mast rotation lock
pin (P).
The davimast is in place, ready to receive a bracket;
see 5.3.
5.2. Dismantling the davimast
The operator must first be protected from the risk of
falling before any dismantling work.
To disconnect the davimast from its base plate, remove
the davimast bracket, then:
• Depending on the base plate, remove the mast
rotation lock pin (P); and
• Remove the davimast (M) from the Tractel
plate.
The davimast is ready to be transported.
5.3. Installing a bracket on the davimast
mast
NOTE: The davimast mast must be equipped
on the mast with a Tractel
®
one of the following brackets: blocfor™ R, caRol™ TS
or 150 kg PPE double anchor with 360° rotation.
No other configuration is permitted.

Once the davimast is in place:
1. Install the bracket on the davimast mast (Fig. 3).
Each bracket has a positioning pin that prevents the
chosen system from being set up incorrectly. Each
bracket must be fixed with the two pin connected
to the bracket. This does not include the double
anchor point bracket which is equipped with only
one pin; and
2. Lock the bracket with the pin and locking pins
attached to the bracket (Fig. 3).
NOTE: It is strictly forbidden to modify the
anchoring brackets supplied with the system in any
way.
The davimast is ready to be used.
5.4. Installing a fall protection device on
a davimast anchor point
The brackets are fitted with a PPE anchor point.
Two fall protection systems must never be connected to

the same anchor point. A lifting system must never be
connected to the PPE anchor point.
The connection with the PPE anchor point on the
davimast must be made using an EN 362 connector.
DANGER:
The presence of a second operator
nearby is essential to carry out a possible evacuation.
The rescue operations to be planned must have been
studied beforehand in order to define the human
resources and equipment to be used to rescue the
injured person within a period of less than 15 minutes.
After that time, the operator is in danger.
Throughout the rescue phase, there must be
direct or indirect visual contact or other means of
communication between the rescuer and other
persons involved in the rescue.
6.1. 150 kg PPE double anchor with 360°
rotation
The 150 kg PPE double anchor with 360° rotation
secures 1 operator by rotating anchor with a maximum
weight of 150 kg. Up to two operators can connect to
this bracket at the same time.
Each anchor point turns 360° independently.
The connection with the PPE anchor point on the
davimast must be made using an EN 362 connector.
