Cooking creamy desserts
■ Make desserts in glass dishes using the external steam basket for smooth and quick cooking. To do this,
place 0.7 litres of water into the bowl without accessories attached. Put your glass dishes (¾ full) in the
external steam basket and close the lid. Start the Steam program P2 for 20 minutes, then leave the glass
dishes in the external steam basket for 10 minutes without heat at the end of cooking, so that the
desserts finish cooking slowly with the remaining steam. Cooking times may vary according to the
containers used.
■ Warning:
• Only use glass dishes that are compatible with cooking!
• Do not arrange the glasses on the upper steam tray because their contents could expand and
lift the lid.

liquid preparations (soup, sauces, etc.) must be made in the Prep&Cook bowl.

■ Caution: cooking times indicated in the table on pages 67 and 68 are for steaming with water
in the bowl and not a liquid preparation.
