■ Position these parts on the bowl lid in the following order: the juice collector (M), the external steam
basket (L), the upper steam tray (K) and, finally the lid (J) (see Fig. 6).
■ Tip: The juice collector is an indispensable part for generating steam. It can also be used to
collect the cooking juices so that they are not mixed with the ingredients in the bowl or to
make sauces to accompany your dishes.
■ Warning: make sure that all the parts are properly assembled, otherwise the steam will
escape and the food will not cook properly.
■ You can cook foods of different consistencies on different levels. Place food that needs more
cooking time on the bottom, and that which requires less cooking time on the top.
■ For foods cooked whole such as fish, make sure that you stay within the steamer size to
ensure even cooking.
■ If the recipe requires the use of cling film, use a cling film recommended for cooking in the
microwave. Cling film is recommended for preventing condensation and to protect delicate
foods. Avoid aluminium foil which tends to increase cooking time.
■ Press Steam Program P1 or P2 and set the time based on the steam programs table (see Fig. 7).
