Electrical connection
Please note the information in chapter
„2.6 Risk as a result of electric shock and fire" !
⇒ Set the mode selector switch (1) to the center position "OFF".
⇒ Plug the power cord (8, Fig. 1) into the power supply (5, Fig.1).
⇒ Connect the power plug to an electrical socket of the building�

Connection to the suction point
Caution: Risk of injury!
When shortening the suction hose, make sure to cut the integrated wire
as straight as possible.
If the diameter is not suitable, use an adapter (see Chapter
„3.4 Accessories" ), to avoid loss of suction.
Long suction hoses, tight bends and kinks greatly reduce the suction pow-
er at the suction point.
Avoid steep inclines and "sagging" along the hose.
⇒ Plug the suction hose (9, Fig. 1) onto the suction port (7).
⇒ Connect the suction hose to the suction point of the CAM system� In doing so,
observe the instructions for use of the CAM system�
⇒ Shorten the suction hose if necessary�

Connection to the CAM interface
If the extraction unit is switched on and off too often using a power supply to the CAM system,
this can damage both the electronics of the CAM system and of the extraction unit.
For this reason, it is critical to use the CAM interface provided for the purpose in conjunction with
a suitable interface cable to control the extraction unit (see Chapter „9 CAM interface" ).
The electrical connection for communication with the CAM system is pro-
vided via the CAM interface (4) and an optional interface cable (see Chap-
ter „3.4 Accessories" ).
For assigning an available interface cable to the CAM systems,
or for preparing your own interface cable, see Chapter
„9.2 Connector assignment: interface cable" �
Also observe the instructions for use of the CAM system.

Operation
Before beginning to work, check that a dust bag has been inserted.
If operated without a dust bag, the intended protection against exposure to
dust can no longer be guaranteed.

The mode selector switch (1) has three settings:
