General Information/Product Description/Function

When the pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine UP 60 is used in accordance with the operating
instruction for use, it is safe to operate. If the safety precautions and the warnings are not strictly
observed the employment of the pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine UP 60 could be dangerous.
CAUTION!
The pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine UP 60 is only allowed to be operated with a
mounted adapter with die set and suitable safety guard.
The pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine UP 60 is a pneumatic crimp machine for the MOLEX
interchangeable crimping system, designed as a complete table top unit. With the pneumatic Universal
Crimp Machine UP 60 the most common terminals on the market can be crimped with the MOLEX
interchangeable crimping systems.
All other applications of the pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine UP 60 are only permitted with a written
permission of the manufacturer. For all unauthorised applications of the pneumatic Universal Crimp
Machine UP 60 the manufacturer cannot be held liable for any resultant damage or injury.
According to the type of terminal an interchangeable suitable crimping die is selected and installed into
the die holders.
By pressing the pneumatic foot pedal, the crimping cycle of the pneumatic Universal Crimp Machine
UP 60 is activated. All pneumatic Universal Crimp Machines UP 60 are equipped with a positive closing
mechanism and guarantee a constant crimp quality.
In case of blocked jaws caused by operation or handling errors or wrongly placed terminals, press the
release button to open the jaws.
