(3) Align the mark of the adapter with the center of the
nailing slot, and drive the nail. When driving nails,
hold the nailer perpendicular to the material.

(4) If necessary, turn the adjuster to readjust the nailing
depth.
NOTE
When using the adapter, even if the adjuster is set to
the deepest setting, the nails will be driven to remain
protruding.
CLEARING A JAM
Remove a jammed nail with the following procedure.
WARNING
Be sure to turn off the power switch and pull out
the battery.
CAUTION
NEVER point the firing head at yourself or
another person, to avoid risk of injury by mis-
firing.
Even if the battery is removed from the nailer,
there is still energy of compressed air remaining
inside.
(1) Remove the battery from the Nailer.
(2) Open the nail guide.
(3) Remove the jammed nail with a slotted-head
screwdriver.

CAUTION
NEVER hit the driver blade.
(4) Cut the deformed collated wire with nippers.
Correct the deformation.
(5) Ensure that the push lever slides smoothly.
NOTE
If the tip of the driver blade becomes worn, nail
jamming is more likely to occur.
In case of frequent jam, contact a metabo HPT
authorized service center.
