Brewing coffee over ice
Note: the coffee is brewed at a lower temperature. For an optimal result, pour it
over ice cubes and interrupt the automatic rinse cycle if the overice coffee is the
first beverage brewed when the machine is switched on.
1 Take a glass and fill it halfway with ice cubes. (about 6 ice cubes for the factory
set beverage).
2 Place the glass under the coffee dispensing spout.
3 Select the OVER ICE beverage.
We recommend using the aroma 5 or coffee boost for a more intense taste.
4 Press the START/STOP
Note: if you select the coffee boost or pre-ground coffee it is not possible to brew 2
cups at the time.
Note: after dispensing a hot drink or steam, the machine may dispense at a slightly
higher temperature. We recommend brewing an over ice coffee first by selecting
the pre-ground function without adding coffee.
Preparation of frothed milk based and
coffee beverages
Warning: before selecting a milk, frothed milk or coffee-based beverage, make sure
that the milk carafe is installed and the milk dispensing spout is open. If the milk
carafe is not correctly installed, the milk dispensing spout may spray steam or hot
milk.
Filling the milk carafe
Note: Before using the milk carafe, clean it thoroughly as described in the "Cleaning
the milk carafe" section.
