Remove the one screw with which the back cover
plate is secured, using a coin.

Pull the back cover plate up and remove it from the
printer.

Remove the jammed paper slowly.
If you still cannot remove the paper
Do not try to remove it forcibly. Contact your
nearest Sony dealer.

Replace the back cover plate.
Note
When you put the back cover plate on, be careful
not to catch your fingers or any other object.

Secure the back cover plate using the screw
removed in step 4.
Confirm that the screw holes of the back side of
the printer and the back cover plate match
before securing them.
When using the printer again
Confirm the following before using the printer again.
• Confirm that any connecting cables and the AC
power cord are securely connected.
• Reset the paper tray in the printer.
• When the power is turned on, a message appears.
Use the printer following the instructions given in the
message. For details, see the following.
To turn on the power
When you turn on the power for first time after you have
turned off the power with the message "SAVING
IMAGES" displayed, proceed as follows.
