IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTES:
Refer to the Clearance Table when installing your Gravity Series™ 1150 into a built-in outdoor kitchen. Consult with your
local building code authority or local contractor for your outdoor kitchen's solid fuel grill clearance requirements. If State
or local clearance minimum is greater than manufacture recommendations, then State and Local codes for minimum
clearances supersede manufacture recommendations. Use the greater of the two requirements previously mentioned.
KITCHEN REQUIREMENTS:
LEVEL SURFACE: Ensure grill is installed on a level surface.
MATERIALS: Ensure the materials used to construct the build in kitchen are
non-combustible and can handle high temperatures.
BASE: Do NOT place the grill directly on a combustible surface.
ACCESS: Ensure there is front access so that the cart storage, hopper door,
and intake slides are not blocked. The rear cord access SHOULD NOT be
pinched or bound. Do not let cord hang on or touch hot surfaces.
CLEARANCE: Ensure there is space between the sides of the built-in and the
grill. The counter top and cabinet SHOULD NOT make direct contact with the
grill. The open lid SHOULD NOT make direct contact with built-in.
In accordance with surface touch point temperature
standards and, the below diagram illustrates proper
spacing around the grill for built in applications. All
materials used must be non-combustible.
NOTE: Combustible material maintain a minimum
distance of 3m (10 ft) from rear, sides and top of grill to all
overhead construction, walls, rails or other combustible
construction materials.
