1 INTENDED USE
This manual constitutes an integral part of
the product. It is intended to provide the
owner and operator with effective, safe
instructions for the COMMISSIONING, USE
(SAFETY IN USE) and MAINTENANCE of
the Mod. TBE 156 PRO truck tyre changer.
CONSERVE THIS MANUAL WITH CARE,
CLOSE TO THE MACHINE, FOR ANY
FURTHER CONSULTA-TION BY THE
OPERATORS.
The Mod. TBE 156 PRO tyre changer is
constructed for use to remove the tyres of
trucks, agricultural tractors and earthmo-
ving machines from, and mount them on,
the relative wheel rims.
The machine is able to handle tyres from
14" to 56", with maximum wheel diameter
2450 mm.
All functions are electro-hydraulically
powered, with control by means of a ratio-
nal, function control console on a special
articulated arm which can be used in all
working positions.
CAUTION
This machine must only be used for the
purpose for which it has been specifically
designed.
All other uses must be considered IMPRO-
PER and thus UNREASONABLE.
The manufacturer cannot be considered
responsible for any damage caused by
improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
2 GENERAL SAFETY
RULES
The machine must only be used by spe-
cially trained and specifically authorised

personnel. Any tampering with or modi-
fication to the equipment not authorised
by the manufacturer in advance relieves
the manufacturer of responsibility for any
damage deriving from or traceable to such
procedures. Removal of or tampering with
the safety devices is a breach of EUROPEAN
REGULATIONS on safety at work.
The machine may only be used in places
free from explosion or fire hazards.
SAFETY DEVICES
- To open the door of the control panel,
the electricity supply must first be cut off
using the switch provided, as required by
EEC standards.
- The logical layout of the controls avoids
any hazardous errors on the part of the
operator.
- Mushroom-head emergency button to cut
off the power supply to the machine.
- All functions controlled by the control
levers are disabled when the control is
released (dead-man principle).
CAUTION
Tampering with or removing any safety
device is absolutely forbidden.
CAUTION
Carry out the assembly and installation
operations described with care. Failure
to comply with these recommendations
may cause damage to the machine and
put the operator at risk.
CAUTION
During work and maintenance procedu-
res, keep long hair gathered up and do
not wear loose or flowing clothes, hanging
ties, necklaces or rings which may become
caught on moving parts.
