RECORDING AND PLAYBACK USING AN AUDIO TIMER
ENREGISTREMENT ET REPRODUCTION AVEC UNE MINUTERIE

. Load a prerecorded tape.
@
Make sure that the tape is properly rewound.
. Set the DOLBY NR button.
. Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
@
Adjust the volume level by playing back a portion of the tape.
. Rewind the tape to the position where playback is to
start.
. Set the audio timer.
@ When the timer is set, it will turn off the power of all con-
nected components.
. Set the TIMER switch to the PLAY/REPEAT
position.
@ At the time set on the audio timer, the power will be turned
on and playback will begin automatically.
NOTES:
Operations depend on the type of audio timer used; be sure to
consult the operating instructions of the audio timer you actu-
ally use.
When the TIMER switch set to the PLAY/REPEAT
position for
the wake-up playback, the deck is into the repeat playback mode
(see page 18).
When not performing timer operations, set the TIMER switch
to the OFF position. Otherwise, playback might begin unexpect-
edly when the power is turned on.

1. Charger une cassette enregistrée.

S'assurer que la bande est correctement bobinée.
2. Régler la touche DOLBY NR.
3. Régler l'amplificateur stéréo pour une reproduction de
bande.

Ajuster le niveau de volume en reproduisant une partie de
la bande.
4. Rembobiner la bande 4 fa position ot la reproduction doit
commencer.
5. Régler la minuterie audio.
@
Lorsque la minuterie a été réglée, elle met tous les compo-
sants raccordés hors tension.
6. Placer le commutateur
TIMER
sur la position PLAY/
REPEAT.
@ A I'heure réglée sur la minuterie, |'alimentation est activée
et la reproduction démarre automatiquement.
REMARQUES :
Les opérations dépendent du type de minuterie audio utilisée ;
priére de consulter le mode d'emploi de l'appareil utilisé.
Lorsque
le commutateur
TIMER
est placé
sur la position
PLAY/REPEAT
pour le réveil par reproduction, la platine passe
dans le mode de reproduction répétée (voir page
78).
Lorsque la fonction de minuterie n'est pas utilisée, toujours régler
le commutateur TIMER sur la position OFF. Dans le cas contraire,
/a reproduction peut commencer de maniére imprévue a la mise
sous tension.
