1. Press the open/close ( & ) button.
When the open/close button is pressed, ''OPEN'' appears in the
counter, and the cassette door opens.
2. Insert a prerecorded tape.
3. Press the open/close ( & ) button.

The cassette door closes.
@
When the cassette door closes, the take-up reel automati-
cally rotates and takes up tape slack (ATLC: Automatic Tape
Loose Canceller).
@ While the cassette door is open, pressing the play (P) but-
ton, fast forward (PP) button, rewind { 44) button, record-
ing (@) button or pause (8M) button will close the cassette
door automatically, and the operation corresponding to the
button pressed begins.
4. Set the DOLBY NR button.
@ Always set the button to the same position that was used
for recording.
5. Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
6. Press the play (>) button.
The indicator above the play button (P) will light, and playback
will begin. The level meter will move to show the strength of
the playback signal.
To stop playback temporarily
Press the pause (Ml) button.
@ To resume playback, either press the pause (Ml) button again,
or press the playback (P) button.
To stop playback
Press the stop ( @) button.
NOTE:
/f the cassette door is closed while the unit is turned off, and the
power is then turned on, the cassette door may open and close af-
ter pressing one of the operation buttons.
This occurs when the
microprocessor resets the door mechanism to its initial state and
does not indicate any malfunctioning of the unit.
REPEAT PLAYBACK

1. Set the TIMER switch to the PLAY/REPEAT
position.
2. The rest of the procedure is the same as above steps 1
through 6.

Playback will stop after the tape is repeated
16 times.
®
If one of the operation buttons is pressed during the repeat
playback, a new repeat cycle will start from the point.

1. Appuyer sur la touche d'ouverture/fermeture

Lorsque la touche d'ouverture/fermeture est enfoncée, ''OPEN"'
apparait dans le compteur et la porte de la cassette s'ouvre.
2. Insérer une cassette enregistrée.
3. Appuyer sur la touche d'ouverture/fermeture
( & ).
®@ La porte de la cassette se ferme.

Lorsque la porte de cassette se ferme, la bobine réceptrice
se met automatiquement a tourner et reprend le jeu de la
bande (ATLC : Automatic Tape Loose Canceller).

Une pression sur la touche de reproduction (P), la touche
d'avance rapide (PP), la touche de rembobinage ( 44), la tou-
che d'enregistrement ( @ ) ou la touche de pause (Mf) lors-
que
la porte
de la cassette
est ouverte
fermera

matiquement la porte de la cassette et l'opération correspon-
dant a la touche enfoncée commencera.
4. Régler la touche DOLBY NR.
®@ Toujours régler la touche sur la méme position que celle uti-
lisée pour |'enregistrement.
Régler l'amplificateur stéréo pour une reproduction de
bande.
6. Appuyer sur la touche de reproduction (>).
L'indicateur au-dessus de la touche de reproduction (P) s'allume
et la reproduction commence. L'indicateur de niveau bouge pour
indiquer la force du signal de reproduction.

Pour arréter la reproduction
Appuyer sur la touche d'arrét (Hf).

Pour reprendre la reproduction, appuyer de nouveau sur la tou-
che de pause (HM) ou appuyer sur la touche de reproduction
(Pm).
Pour arréter la reproduction
Appuyer sur la touche d'arrét (Ml).
REMARQUE :
Si la porte de cassette est fermée lorsque I'unité n'est pas sous
tension, et qu'elle est ensuite mise sous tension, la porte de cas-
sette peut s'ouvrir et se fermer lorsque I'on appuie sur l'une des
touches de fonctionnement. Cela survient lorsque le microproces-
seur réinitialise le mécanisme de la porte a son état initial et il ne
S'agit en aucun cas d'un mauvais fonctionnement de I'unité.
| REPRODUCTION REPETEE
1. Placer le commutateur
TIMER
sur la position
PLAY/
REPEAT.
2. Le reste de la procédure est identique aux étapes 1 4 6
ci-dessus.

Lareproduction s'arrétera lorsque la bande a été répétée 16
fois.
@
Si l'une des touches de fenction est enfoncée pendant le
mode de reproduction répétée, un nouveau cycle de répéti-
tion commence a partir de ce point.
