CONNECTING THE LOCKER AS THE MASTER TO THE LOCKER
EXTENSION

Electrician
ü Locker extension has been positioned next to the Locker master.
ü Industrial vending solutions have been disconnected from the power supply.
1. Connect the data line from the USB-A output of the Locker master to the USB-A
input of the Locker extension.
2. Connect power cable to power supply via IEC C14 connector.
3. Restore the power supply.
4. Switch on the industrial vending solution and interconnect the systems in the
software.

Locker master has been connected to the Locker extension.
6.6.
SWITCHING OFF THE GOODS ISSUING SYSTEM
1. Shut down the operating software in a controlled manner.
2. Shut down the operating system in a controlled manner.
3. Disconnect the goods issuing system from the power supply.

Before starting work check all safety equipment for correct installation and cor-
rect operation.

Do not disable guards such as the emergency access duct.

Maintain free access to the sockets which supply power to the goods issuing sys-
tem.

Once the system has been switched off, ensure it is not switched on again
without proper checks.

Keep the safety equipment accessible at all times.
CAUTION
Unsecured objects that fall or are left lying around
Crush hazard and impact hazard for hands, feet and body.

Do not place heavy objects on the industrial vending system or attach them to it.
»
Comply with the maximum load capacity.
»
Keep the working area clean and tidy; remove any objects that are no longer
needed.
»
Mark any unavoidable trip hazards.
CAUTION

Do not reach into the goods issuing flaps whilst they are closing.
NOTICE! Do not store any substances in the goods issuing flaps that may
become resinous and lead to the closure mechanism sticking.
7.1.
STORING GOODS
ü Items must not protrude from the compartment.
ü The size of the compartment must be suitable for the size of the item.
ü The maximum load per compartment must not be exceeded.
ü System is ready.
ü User is logged in.
1. Follow the on-screen instructions for storing items.

To store the items and quantities, touch the screen in the areas shown.
2. Point the hand-held scanner at the barcode on the item.

Scan the item with the barcode.
3. Enter the item quantity manually.

Confirm your entry.
4. The compartment will open.
5. Place the item in the compartment and confirm on the screen.

8.
Faults
8.1.
EMERGENCY ACCESS HANDLE

In the event of faults or when setting up the compartments with a power supply,
open the emergency access handle to allow the goods issuing compartments to be un-
locked manually.

ü The industrial vending system must be shut down, disconnected from the power
supply and checked to ensure it is electrically dead.
1. Use the key to open the emergency access duct.

Take care not to damage the cabling between the LED lighting strip and duct
fascia.
2. Slowly lift the duct fascia, free it from the pins, remove it and carefully put it
aside.
»
Take care not to disconnect or damage the cabling for the LED lighting strip.
3. Actuate the lever to unlock the desired compartment.
»
The compartment will open.
4. Take out the article, close the compartment.
5. Once all the articles have been removed, refit the duct fascia and lock it with the
key.
6. A manual entry is necessary in the software to record that the articles have been
issued.

Maintenance
WARNING
Improperly performed maintenance work

Perform maintenance, repair and cleaning work only when the machine is at a
standstill.

Shut down the goods issuing system, disconnect it from the power supply and
check that it is electrically dead.

Check the covers and safety equipment for correct operation.

Comply with the national and regional safety regulations.

10. Cleaning
Do not use chemical, alcohol-based, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners.
Wipe down powder-coated surfaces (such as body, metal panelling, drawers, storage
shelves) with lukewarm, dampened cloth.
11. Spare parts
Order original spare parts from the Hoffmann Group Customer Service.
12. Disposal
Comply with the national and regional environmental protection and disposal regu-
lations for correct disposal or recycling. Segregate items into metals, non-metals,
composite materials and consumables and dispose of them responsibly.
