4.3.
TRANSPORT TO THE PLACE OF ERECTION
ü Prepare all the connection points at the final place of erection.

ü The floor must have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
ü Forklift truck or pallet truck rated for the weight of the item of packaging.

2. Remove the base fascia.
3. Drive the forklift truck forwards between the support pads of the goods issuing
system until they project beyond the far side.

Be aware of the position of the centre of gravity of the goods issuing system.

4. Lift the goods issuing system from the pallet.
5. Transport the goods issuing system to its final place of erection.
6. Carefully lower the forks and withdraw them.
4.4.
REMOVING THE PACKAGING

1. Remove the film packaging around the wooden frame; carefully dismantle the
transport frame.

2. Remove four to six screws from each side.
3. Take separately packed components off the pallet.
4. Remove the film packaging around the industrial vending system.
NOTICE! Carefully cut open the film packaging. Do not use any unsuitable

cutting tools such as kitchen knives, decorator's knives or pocket knives.
5. At each corner of the industrial vending system, release four bolts to release it
from the pallet.
6. Dispose of the packaging correctly in accordance with local regulations.

Cables and accessories supplied are mounted directly on the system or are bolted to
the pallet.

sunlight, free from shaking and vibration.

5.1.
SETTING UP COMPARTMENTS WITH POWER SUPPLIES

3. Use a screwdriver to break out the pre-prepared break-through in the goods issu-
ing compartment, and insert a cable grommet.
4. Insert a power supply unit or cable into the goods issuing compartment and feed
it through the break-through into the emergency access duct.
5. Fit strain relief in the region of the break-through.
6. Guide the power supply unit and cable downwards and out through the cable
exit.
7. Connect the power supply and start up the industrial vending system.
5.2.
MOUNTING THE SCREEN SUPPORT
1. Swivel the screen support round completely.
2. Route DVI cable through the cable outlet on swivel arm.
3. Guide all additional cables through cable outlet and mount screen support in
perforated panel.
4. Shift retaining plate upwards and tighten with integrated screws.
5. Press together cable holder and secure cables on the swivel arm.
6. After assembly and cabling, push remaining cables back into the slot.

Screen support has been installed.
6.
Preparation for use
6.1.
CONNECTING THE INDUSTRIAL VENDING SOLUTION

ü The industrial vending solution has been unpacked.
1. Connect the power cable (mains cable) to the IEC C14 connector on the back of
the industrial vending solution.
2. Connect the network cable to the RJ-45 socket on the back of the industrial vend-
ing solution.
3. Connect the network cable to the network connection.
4. Connect the power cable to the socket.

The industrial vending solution has been connected.
6.2.
STARTING UP THE GOODS ISSUING SYSTEM
ü Close and lock the emergency access duct.
ü Connect the goods issuing system to the power supply.
ü Connect the main system (master) to the data network.
1. Switch on the monitor.
2. When the power supply is connected, the goods issuing system will start up
automatically.

The LED lighting strip will light up and the operating system is ready for use.
6.3.
CONNECTING THE SMARTLINE AS THE MASTER TO THE
LOCKER EXTENSION

Electrician
ü Locker extension has been positioned next to the Smartline master.
ü Industrial vending solutions have been disconnected from the power supply.
ü Smartline connected to the network.
ü Cover has been removed.
1. Remove the end cover from the cover.
2. Expose the opening for routing cables on the end cover.
3. Connect the data line from the USB-A output of the Smartline master to the USB-
A input of the Locker extension.
4. Connect power cable to power supply via IEC C14 connector.
5. Mount the end cover with protective cable bushing on the cover.
6. Fit the cover.
7. Restore the power supply.
8. Switch on the industrial vending solution and interconnect the systems in the
software.

Smartline master has been connected to the Locker extension.
6.4.
CONNECTING THE PICKONE AS THE MASTER TO THE LOCKER
EXTENSION

Electrician
ü Locker extension has been positioned next to the PickOne master.
ü Industrial vending solutions have been disconnected from the power supply.
ü PickOne base fascia has been removed.
1. Connect the data line from the USB-B output of the PickOne master to the USB-A
input of the Locker extension.
2. Connect power cable to power supply via IEC C14 connector.
3. Restore the power supply.
4. Switch on the industrial vending solution and interconnect the systems in the
software.

PickOne master has been connected to the Locker extension.
