2.2.
INTENDED USE
Goods issuing system with access protection for persons entitled to remove,
place in store and manage articles.
Barcode scanner for scanning articles.
Control of management, filling and removal using a touch screen monitor (mas-
ter system).
Store articles only in a correct and clean condition.
For security, store or retrieve articles in packaging if they are ground or liable to
roll.
For work in indoor industrial environments. For use on dry solid floors.
Use only when it is technically in good condition and safe to operate.
2.3.
REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE
Do not store any foodstuffs.
Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Do not store any containers holding liquids or gases, nor any substances classi-
fied under the Hazardous Goods Act, within the system.
Not for use where there is exposure to intense heat, direct sunlight, naked flames
or liquids.
Do not carry out any unauthorised modifications.
Do not replace the integral LED lamps.
2.4.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Comply with the national and regional regulations for safety and accident preven-
tion. Protective equipment such as safety shoes and safety gloves appropriate for the
risks associated with the intended activities must be selected, provided and worn.
2.5.
QUALIFICATIONS OF PERSONNEL
Specialists for mechanical work
Specialists in the sense of this documentation are persons who are familiar with as-
sembly work, mechanical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and mainten-
ance of the products and who possess the following qualifications:
Qualification / training in the field of mechanics as specified in the nationally ap-
plicable regulations.
Trained specialist for electro-technical work
A trained electrician in terms of this document is a person who has been respectively
trained and who possesses the skills and experience to recognise and avoid the
dangers of working with electricity.
Trained person
Trained persons in the sense of this documentation are persons who have been
trained to perform work in the areas of transport, storage and operation.

2.6.
DUTIES OF THE OPERATING COMPANY
The operating company must ensure that personnel who work on the product com-
ply with the regulations and provisions together with the following instructions:
National and regional regulations for safety, accident prevention and environ-
mental protection regulations.
No damaged products are assembled, installed or commissioned.
The necessary protective equipment is provided.
Specify personnel responsible for installation, operations, fault rectification,
maintenance and cleaning.
Comply with the maintenance intervals.
Regularly check the safety devices for correct operation and completeness.
Maintain the safety, warning and operating notices in good legible condition.
2.7.
GUARDS
2.7.1.
Shutting down in an emergency

Depending on the type of fault, have it rectified only by an authorised specialist or
by Hoffmann Group Customer Service.
In the event of faults which pose an immediate threat to personnel or property,
disconnect the goods issuing system from the power supply and secure it against
being switched on again.
Determine the cause of the fault.
Managing systems and databases, and
determining the status (enabled/dis-
abled).
Performing the specified everyday tasks.
