3. Press the Laser Level 15 with the
Mounting Putty 29 against the structural
surface and use enough force to firmly
secure to the wall.
Removing the Laser Level from the
Wall
To remove the Laser Level 15 from the wall:
1. Gently pull the Laser Level 15 away
from the structural surface slowly by
lifting up from one side with gentle
pressure, until it is removed. A slight
rocking action can be used to slowly
rotate and lift the Laser Level 15.
2. After use, immediately place Laser Level
15 back into the Laser Level Sorage
Compartment 19. This will extend the
life of the Mounting Putty 29.
Note: The Mounting Putty 29 can be reused.
To improve longevity and reuse, only apply
the Mounting Putty 29 to clean, dry surfac-
es.

To switch on the Laser Level 15, press the
Laser Level On/Off Button 20. Immediately
after switching on, the tool sends a Laser
Beam 30 out of the Exit Opening for Laser
Beam 21.

Switching off the Laser Level
To switch off the Laser Level 15, press the
Laser Level On/Off Button 20 again.
Positioning the Laser Level
(Fig. 26)
For precise alignment with the Laser Level
15, the position of the tool is important.
The specified leveling orientation is only
achieved when the tool is correctly posi-
tioned:
• For alignment with the Spirit Level
for Horizontal Alignment 23, the Exit
Opening for Laser Beam 21 must face
sideways.
• For alignment with the Spirit Level for
Vertical Alignment 24, the Exit Opening
for Laser Beam 21 must face upward or
downward.
Horizontal Alignment with the
Laser Line
(Fig. 26, Fig. 27, Fig. 28)
Picture frames or tiles, as an example, can
be aligned alongside the horizontal laser
line.
1. Align the Laser Level horizontally with
the help of the Spirit Level for Horizon-
tal Alignment 23.
2. Position the tool against the wall or
fasten it with the Mounting Putty 29 as
described in "Fastening the Laser Level
with Mounting Putty" on page 28.
Vertical Alignment with the Laser
Line
(Fig. 26, Fig. 27, Fig. 29)
Shelves, as an example, can be aligned
alongside the vertical laser line.
1. Align the Laser Level 15 vertically with
the help of the Spirit Level for Vertical
Alignment 24.
2. Position the Laser Level 15 against the
wall, or fasten it with the Mounting
Putty 29 as described in "Fastening the
Laser Level with Mounting Putty" on
page 28.
