Stop moving the tool immediately when
the Red Arrow 12 appears.
7. Lightly mark the edge location
8. Repeat steps 1 - 7 moving in the oppo-
site direction
other edge of the stud.
9. Mark the center between the two stud-
edge marks
. This is approximately the
center of the stud.
Note: If no stud is identified, restart calibra-
tion at a new spot. Calibrating at a location
over a stud may limit sensitivity.
The stud finder turns off when the pres-
sure on the Stud Finder's Switch 10 is re-
lieved, the Variable Speed Trigger Switch 1
is pulled, or after no use.
