5 Installation

INFORMATION
Cables with multi-strand, fine-strand or extra
fine-strand conductors can be used for DC
connection. The cables must be suitable for a
temperature of at least 75°C.
When using fine-strand or extra fine-strand
conductors, bootlace ferrules must be used for
the connection.

1. Switch the DC load-break switch on the inverter
to "Off" and, if available, also on the PV array
junction box.
2. Connect the PV cables from the PV array junction
box to the inverter. When doing so, ensure the
correct polarity.
3. All conductors must be properly attached with
the correct tool (screwdriver bit, length min. 50
mm) and correct torque, see Section 9.4,
page 49.

Closing the inverter with one-piece enclosure
lid:
1. Insert the intermediate frame into the inverter and
tighten the eight fastening screws (TX25, torque:
6 Nm).
