Loading the vehicle battery:

The ED-1.2 Pedelec travels with a 37V
8.8 Ah Lithium-ion battery. Premium
brand cells are connected to one 37V-cell
package. The battery's contains a protection
circuit, which prevents overcharging and deep
discharge. Avoid storing a complete battery
empty for weeks. Always use the supplied
high-quality Lithium-ion battery charger
(see illustration) to recharge your battery.
The original charger works with CCCV
technology. The charger is for indoor use.
Read the enclosed manual of the charger
before first use. Remove the charger the box,
loosen the cable bundle and connect it to the
traction battery located charging socket (see
illustration). The battery can also be loaded on
the bike.

1 CC-CV = Constant Current – Constant Voltage:
Controlled current strength is first used to charge
quickly and the battery voltage increases. On
approaching the maximum capacity, the current
strength is reduced and the remaining capacity is filled
only with exact maximum specified voltage.
