Should not light up all 5 LED supply the battery
with a fully recharge. Connect to the vehicle
battery with the supplied charger. See Chapter
"Charging the drive battery."
Lithium-ion batteries have a significantly
lower self-discharge as Nickel batteries
and can therefore stored for about 3
months without recharging. If after this
time the battery is not charged it can still
damage the chemical structure of the
batterycell.

Removal of the battery

To remove the battery, proceed as follows (see
illustrations):
• Key switch to the left
• and open the lock (1)
• Open the cap (2)
• Pull out the battery (3)
When reinstalling, you go in reverse sequence.
• Make sure that the contacts of the Battery
(5) get the contacts of the battery controller
(4). Therefore put the battery with gentle
pressure in the battery bay.
If the cap is not completely closed, the battery
is not seated completely in the contacts of the
controller.

Locking the key switch (1) ensures a secure hold
on the battery and the optimal electrical contact
to the electronics in the battery Controller.
