NTP PoE model with battery:
If the mains power supply cuts out, the lighting (if this option has been selected) goes off. All the
hands continue to work because power is supplied to the circuit board by the PoE network. If the
PoE network also cuts out, the second hand stops at the midday position but the hour and minute
hands continue to work for an hour, powered by the battery. After an hour, all the hands stop. They
return to the midday position when the PoE network is restored. The clock then resynchronises the
time and the lighting comes back on when the mains power supply is restored.
