11. This appliance should only be used in well-venti-
lated areas in compliance with the applicable reg-
ulations. Please read this manual before installing
or using this product.
12. The mechanism cannot operate for longer than
15 seconds. IF the burner does not ignite after
15 seconds, stop the mechanism and wait for
at least one minute before trying to reignite the
burner.
13. Any work on gas installations must be carried out
by authorised and competent technicians.
14. This appliance is set up for natural gas (NG).
If you need to use your appliance with a different
type of gas, you'll need to request an authorised
service to carry out the conversion.
15. For correct operation, the cover, gas hose and
collar must be regularly replaced in accordance
with the manufacturer's recommendations, and
on an as-required basis.
16. Ask your local gas supplier for the telephone num-
bers to contact for gas emergencies and what to
do if you smell gas.
17. The gas should burn well in gaseous products.
You can tell that gas is burning from the blue
flame and continuous combustion. If the gas isn't
burning sufficiently, carbon monoxide (CO) may
be generated. Carbon monoxide is a colourless,
odourless and highly toxic gas; even small quan-
tities can be lethal.
