1. Light the burner.
2. Adjust and turn the dial to the lowest position.
3. Remove the button from the gas valve.
4. Use a suitably sized screwdriver to adjust the reduced-flow adjustment screw.
5. The normal length of a straight flame in the reduced position should be 4 mm.
6. If the flame is higher than the desired position, turn the screw clockwise; if it isn't high enough,
turn it counter-clockwise.
7. As a final check, repeatedly switch the burner from the high flame to the low flame positions,
and check whether the flame is on or off.
8. The position of the screw may vary depending on the type of gas valve used for your
appliance.
9. When switching from one type of gas to another, make sure that the reduced flow rate is
correct.
10. A sudden change from a maximum setting to a lower setting should never cause the flame
to go out.
For butane and propane gas, turn the screw clockwise. For natural gas, turn the screw
counter-clockwise once.

Before first use
Make sure that there are no packaging materials left on your cooker. These packaging elements
should be recycled separately (see paragraph: unpack the appliance and dispose of the packaging.)
To eliminate any residue or grease that may have been left after production:
1. Open the oven door and leave it to heat to 240 °C for 45 minutes, then switch off the oven by
turning the dials to the "Off" position and leave it to cool.
2. Turn the dial corresponding to one of the 4 hobs to the maximum position and let it run for
5 minutes. Switch off the hob by turning the dial to the "Off" position, and leave it to cool down.
Repeat the same operation for each of the hobs.
WARNING: ventilate the room during this process to evacuate any smoke.
A – Room ventilation
WARNING: use of a gas cooking appliance generates heat, moisture, and combustion products
in the room where it is installed. Make sure that the kitchen is well ventilated, especially when
the appliance is in use. Intensive and prolonged use of the appliance may require additional
ventilation, for example, by increasing mechanical ventilation, if it's used, or by using additional
ventilation that can safely evacuate combustion products to the external air whilst renewing the air
in the room. Consult a professional before installing this additional ventilation.
B – Using the cooking hob
WARNING: this appliance is for cooking purposes only. It must not be used for any other
purposes, such as heating the room.
