Pipe connection with mechanical connector.
● For older installations (pre-1997) using only butane, you can use
a flexible rubber hose with a maximum length of 1.50 m and an
internal diameter of 6 mm, fitted with the special butane connector.
● Screw on the gas connector end, installing the seal on the flexible
hose. If the seal is not fitted, there is a risk of explosion.
● Push the flexible tube onto the gas fitting and secure it with a clamp.
Also attach a clamp to the other end (isolation valve side).
Check that the pipe is compliant and comes with both seals. If the seals are not fitted, there is
a risk of explosion.
If you need to run the connecting pipe behind your appliance, please observe the following
instructions:
The gas connection is made:
so that the hose never comes into contact with the rear of the appliance,
so that it is not in a place likely to be cluttered, and so that it cannot come into contact with any
moving part,
the pipe must not present excessively tight bends or constrictions.
If you use your appliance with butane or propane, you must use an NF regulator connected to the
cylinder.
The tubes and hoses must meet regulatory requirements:
Flexible tubes:
