F – Seal checks
Important: once the installation is complete, check all of the connections for leaks using a soap
solution. A flame should never be used for these checks.
To carry out the leak test, make sure the controls are closed and the gas cylinder or supply is shut off.
1. When checking for a gas leak, avoid using any type of lighter, match, cigarette or similar items/
substances.
2. Use a soap solution on the connection points.
3. Open the gas cylinder or the gas supply.
4. If there is a leak, bubbles will appear.
5. If bubbles appear, this indicates a gas leak.
6. Shut off the cylinder or gas supply and tighten the connections.
7. Repeat the leak test.
8. If the leak is coming from another part, stop using your appliance and contact our after-sales
service department.
