-
This unit is not suitable for outdoor use. Do not allow the unit to become damp or wet.
-
Only use units of the Lisa-Signolux system where electronic devices are permitted.
-
When using in aircraft, it is essential to obtain the prior consent of the flight personnel.
-
Strong interference signals from third-party devices can impair or completely prevent the func-
tion. Do not place potentially interfering devices such as screens and mobile phones closer
than 30 cm to Lisa-Signolux devices and, if necessary, their cabling, as important event mes-
sages such as fire warnings may be prevented.
For your safety: To ensure the function of the system, a function test must be
carried out after installation.
If smoke detectors are integrated into the system, it is a legal requirement to check the
detectors and their alerting regularly!
Mounting the transmitter
The Acoustic Universal Transmitter can be mounted using the supplied wall mount.
In this case, screw the wall mount to a wall (or wooden beam, cabinet, etc.). When
attaching to walls, it is necessary to use a power drill (observe the manufacturer's
safety instructions!) together with a masonry bit (6 mm). In this case, use the dowels
supplied to fix the mount. After attaching the wall mount, hook the transmitter onto the
mount.
Environmental conditions
Units of the Lisa-Signolux system should only be operated in a dry environment within
the guideline values for temperature and humidity specified in these operating inst-
ructions. Humidity and moisture can lead to failure of the units.
Maintenance and cleaning
The unit is maintenance-free. If it becomes dirty, it can be cleaned with a soft, damp
cloth. If necessary, use only commercially available alcohol-based disinfectants. Ne-
ver use cleaning agents or disinfectants that contain acetone or hydrogen peroxide
or that are bleaching, corrosive or abrasive. No liquid or moisture may penetrate the
openings of the unit.
