TYPICAL AREAS OF USE: This coverall is designed to protect workers from certain substances. They are typically used, depending on toxicity and exposure conditions, for protection against particles (Type 5), limited liquid
splashes or sprays (Type 6).
LIMITATIONS OF USE: Exposure to certain very ne particles, intensive liquid sprays and splashes of hazardous substances may require coveralls of higher mechanical strength and barrier properties than those o ered by this
coverall. Stay away from ames or intensive heat. Material melts at about 170°C. Do not re-use this coverall. For enhanced protection in certain applications, taping of cu s, ankles, hood and zipper ap may be considered. Please ensure
that you have chosen the garment suitable for your job. The user shall ensure proper grounding of both the garment and the wearer. The resistance between the user and the earth shall be less than 10 Ohm, e.g. by using adequate
footwear/ ooring, or use of a grounding cable. Electrostatic dissipative protective clothing shall not be opened or removed whilst in presence of ammable or explosive atmospheres or while handling ammable or explosive substances.
Electrostatic dissipative protective clothing shall not be used in oxygen enriched atmospheres without prior approval of the responsible safety engineer. The electrostatic dissipative performance of the electrostatic dissipative clothing
is a ected by relative humidity, wear and tear, possible contamination and ageing. The antistatic treatment is only e ective in a relative humidity of 25% or above and when properly earthed. Electrostatic dissipative protective clothing
shall permanently cover all noncomplying materials during normal use (including bending and movements). Further information on grounding can be provided by DuPont. The user shall perform a risk assessment based on which the
user shall be the sole judge for the correct choice and combination of full body protective coverall and ancillary equipment (gloves, boots, respiratory protective equipment etc.) and for how long a coverall can be worn on a speci c job
with respect to its protective performance, wear comfort or heat stress. DuPont shall not accept any responsibility whatsoever for improper use of its coverall.
PREPARING FOR USE: In the unlikely event of defects, do not wear the coverall.
STORAGE: The coveralls may be stored between 15 and 25 °C in the dark (cardboard box) with no UV light exposure. DuPont has performed tests on similar fabrics according to ASTM D572 with the conclusion that the coverall retains
adequate physical strength over a period of 3 years. The antistatic performance may reduce over time. The user must ensure the dissipative performance is su cient for the application at time of use.
DISPOSAL: This coverall can be incinerated or buried in a controlled land ll. Disposal restrictions depend upon the contamination incurred during use and are subject to national or local legislation. For further information about the
