8. Use the 6mm double-ended allen key (supplied) to loosen the lock screws on the fence
(Fig. 24).
9. Rotate the fence left or right until the saw blade is parallel with the combination square.
10. Retighten the screws securely and recheck the blade-to-fence alignment.
Your saw also has a miter-angle pointer. After squaring adjustments have been

made, it may be necessary to use the supplied Double-Ended Allen Key to
loosen the indicator screw and reset it to zero (Fig. 25).

Depth-of-cut adjustment
The depth stop limits the downward travel of
the blade when cutting grooves and other non-
through cuts.
To use the depth stop:
1. Unplug the saw.
2. If the saw is in the storage or transport
position, release (pull out) the head-
assembly lock pin and allow the head
assembly to rise fully.
3. Grip the main handle and push the head
assembly down while watching the depth-
of-cut bolt contact the top surface of the
depth-stop (Fig. 26).
4. Loosen the thumbnut and turn the head of
the depth-of-cut bolt (while the threaded end is in contact with the depth stop) and watch
the bottom of the saw blade move. This adjustment sets the depth of cut.
5. Tighten the thumbnut to lock the depth-of-cut bolt in place.

When making normal, full-depth cuts, adjust the depth-of-cut bolt until it does

not touch the depth stop when the head assembly is fully lowered.
