2. Replace the outer blade washer. Make
sure that the double "D" flats on the blade
washer align with the flats on the spindle
(Fig. 5).
3. Replace and finger-tighten the blade bolt.
Press and hold the spindle lock and use
the hex-end of the Double-Ended Allen
Key to tighten the blade bolt by turning
the Allen key counterclockwise, but do not
overtighten.

4. Replace the blade-bolt cover and securely
tighten the blade-bolt-cover screw.

Using carbide-tipped blades
Handle carbide-tipped blades carefully. Carbide is very brittle and can be easily damaged.
Use caution when you install, use, or store the blades. Do not use a carbide-tipped blade that
is bent or has bent teeth, or if the blade has cracks, is broken, or has missing or loose carbide
tips.
Do not operate a carbide-tipped blade faster than its recommended speed. Read, understand,
and follow all warnings and instructions provided with your carbide-tipped blades.
