Preparing to lift the saw
1. Set the bevel angle at 0° and lock it in place, using the bevel-lock knob.
2. Rotate the table to either 45° right or 45° left and lock it in place with the miter-lock lever.
3. Loosen the slide-rail lock knob to slide the head assembly through the sliding mechanism
until the position shown in the Fig. 9 is attained. Then lock the sliding rail system.
4. Lock the head assembly in the DOWN position with the head-assembly lock pin (Fig. 10).

Grip the saw by the carrying handle.
Lift and carry the saw by the carrying handle
(Fig. 11).
Lift the saw by the side carry handles
Use upright, good posture and grip the two
handle areas beneath the base. (Fig. 12)
